This past week has held a lot of trauma for our country as we've lived through another massacre of African American folks. This time, nine people killed in Charleston, SC by a young white man. As I have sought to discern what I, as a white Christian who is also a pastor might say and do, I was asked to preach on the anniversary of Stonewall and what LGBTQ liberation might say to us about the #BlackLivesMatter movement.  Below are my prayerful reflections on our responsibilities as white, Christian and queer-affirming people in the United States today.
